Dear Chapter Members: 

Gary Hoglund did a great job on the June minutesBmany Athanks A Gary!  I also heard that Chris Kimball did an excellent job on his presentation tooBAkudos@ to Chris. his month LP Building Products is sending Kyle Grahamy to speak to usBit should prove to be an interesting and informative meeting.

Bruce Palmer, (remember him?) Has returned from his mission in Winter Quarters, Nebraska.  He has graciously consented to cook with me one last time next month at the Chapter=s Annual Summer Bar-B-Que.  It will be held Wednesday, August 11^th , yep, the second Wednesday in August, at my home in Mapleton.  Details to follow... 

Last month I mentioned that Doug Fallon will be taking the helm as Training Chairman please get to know Doug during the next few months and give him your support.  No matter what anyone says,he really is A a good guy@...  All kidding aside, (did I really type those words), he really is Aa good guy@ who will serve the Chapter well and do a great job! 

Where the heck has this summer gone?  It  is almost time for the kids and grandkids to return to school and I still have lots to accomplishBespecially in my yard.  The list of  Ahoney dos@ my wife gave me in February has been lost, though she has a great memory, and I=ve barely scratched the surface.  She keeps telling me, ADo it now@, seems like I=ve heard that somewhere too, or you=ll be in trouble with me.  My boss at work, Dan Stubbs, and my wife seem to be on the same page these daysBscary! 

Well, enough of my ramblings, get out your 2009 Code Books, check out the changes and cross reference the new sections with the 2006 Codes so you=ll be able to perform your inspections and plan reviews.  Take that last longggggggg weekend vacation with your family, attend the August Bar-B-Que, and get ready for a great fall season.
